In order to treat patients by hypnosis it follows that the practitioner has to be capable of inducing hypnosis and regrettably we regularly treat clients who have been elsewhere and failed to be hypnotised by other therapists. Each week we see half a dozen such patients.

Medical Referrals
We have at present over 100 General Practitioners who, from time to time, send their own patients to us for treatment by Hypnosis.
We get people here from all over the country and once had a patient fly from Switzerland especially for treatment.
Most of our patients have either been recommended to us by their Doctor or by people who have already been here for treatment.
A large percentage of our patients have already been to psychiatrists, psychologists and counsellors, and have been disappointed with their progress.
We often get patients here at the South London Hypnotherapy Centre, who have been having psychiatric treatment for as long as eight years and they come here as a last resort. We prefer patients who have exhausted all other avenues in their quest for help in overcomming their problem - ie. Tablets, counsellors, psychiatrists, psychologists etc.
